Edge Pot 15" Light Grey
Proper usage and maintenance
- Proper usage and maintenance is vital for getting the most out of the valuable resources we have. Our designs are made to last for generations, but just like everything else, they need a little care to get there.
- Terracotta is a beautiful looking type of earthenware formed by low-fired clay. Skagerak’s terracotta is hand-thrown in Portugal, which gives each pot a unique expression. Terracotta means “baked earth” in Italian and the pottery technic can be traced all the way back to ancient Greece.
Cleaning and maintenance
- The product requires a minimum of care. If necessary, clean the pot using luke-warm or soapy water and wipe with a dry cloth. Be aware that terracotta is fragile, so make sure to always take care when moving the pot around. The pot can either be used for repotting or as a cover for a traditional plastic pot. The enclosed metal insert works as a drain for excess water. Always use potting soil as normal soil is too heavy for the pot.
- Do not place on wooded tables or the like to avoid spots on the surface.
