Ten feet of drop. Falling Flowers is less a light fitting than an installation that happens to light a room, cast petals suspended at descending heights down a full double-height void.

At two hundred pounds it is an architectural commitment rather than a purchase, and it needs the stairwell or atrium it was drawn for.

Cast in Natural Tone, Light Grey and Dark Grey concrete.

About the...

James De Wulf Falling Flowers Chandelier

Falling Flowers drops a full ten feet, which makes it less a light fitting than an installation that happens to light a room: cast concrete petals suspended at descending heights down a double-height void. At two hundred pounds it is an architectural commitment rather than a purchase, and it wants the stairwell or atrium it was drawn for. Concrete can be molded to have soft, graceful curves, and this is the piece that proves it. Cast in Natural Tone, Light Grey and Dark Grey concrete.

Meet the designers

James De Wulf

James De Wulf established De Wulf Concrete, a small design operation creating avant-garde, concrete-couture for architects, interior decorators, commercial retail stores, and residential clients. Viesso was actually started in the same block and we were excited to see his brand grow the the continual evolvement of his products. They are truly unique and offer something special to the world of outdoor furniture. Recognized for his innovative work with custom concrete design, De Wulf quickly became known for his ability to combine advanced techniques of building along with sophisticated designs. His work has an edge to it, capturing the industrial elegance that is very rare.
