The Orient™ pendant is an ode to fine craftsmanship.

Designed originally in 1963 by Jo Hammerborg, the pendant was relaunched in updated materials in 2013.

The curvy organic shape with fine detailing elegantly conceals the light source and ensures a pleasant soft light without glare.

Available in three expressions, the dark rosewood with matt black aluminium is a modern interpretation of the original black version.

The lighter option in Scandinavian oak and silver-coloured aluminium lends a Nordic touch to the pendant.

While the Copper version with a rosewood top radiates a rich warmth.

The smallest Orient pendant (Ø 225mm) can be hung alone, in a pair above counters or tables, or throughout a hospitality project, for example.

Orient™ was designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963 and relaunched by Fritz Hansen in 2013. Revitalized in close collaboration with the Hammerborg family, the Orient™ pendant is a flawless light design with excellent luminous efficacy, and is made from the finest quality materials. The pendant's organically shaped shade made of aluminium or copper is connected to the cord with a delicate wooden joint and gives a soft, pleasant light without any glare.
