Originally designed in 1959 for the Carimate golf club north of Milan, from which the chair takes its name, Vico Magistretti’s bold and charismatic design became a highly prized collectable piece from the Italian designer’s body of work. A strikingly memorable as well as comfortable chair, the Carimate™ is known for its bold personality and finely detailed construction. Fritz Hansen is proud to reintroduce Magistretti’s charismatic Carimate in natural Beech and Black Coloured Ash with paper cord seat as a pure and honest expression of the design icon. Perfect for creating a bold and memorable dining setting and a must-have for collectors of Magistretti works.
