The light Akademia chair is designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela in 2019.

As the name suggests, the Akademia chair was the result of Wesley Walter’s Master’s Thesis work at Aalto University, Helsinki.

All surfaces should be wiped clean and dry of any liquids with a damp cloth, using organic soaps.

Linea Akademia Dining Chair

The light Linea Akademia chair is designed by Wesley Walters and Salla Luhtasela in 2019. As the name suggests, the Akademia chair was the result of Wesley Walter’s Master’s Thesis work at Aalto University, Helsinki. The young designer, one half of the design duo Kaksikko, together with his partner Salla Luhtasela studied the Finnish chair manufacturing heritage, the Shaker style and Japanese tradition, and combined these various elements to make the Akademia chair.

Nikari is a design studio and furniture manufacturer, first established in 1967 and still resonating today. The company focuses on bringing out the best of wood in modern design, along with sustainability practices. Their products contain the perfect combination of elegance and utility, with form and function uniting in bliss.
