Eco-Friendly Is The New Black
Did you watch the Oscars last Sunday night? We did, too. Who doesn’t love a night filled with gorgeous movie stars, amazing red-carpet fashion, and watching dreams come true right before your very eyes? Could it possibly get any better?
Actually, it can.
We here at Viesso love anything and everything Eco-Friendly so when we heard two actresses would be rocking out in eco-friendly fashion, our hearts skipped a beat.
Naomie Harris and Helen Hunt both stepped up their award show attire by donning eco-friendly frocks for the occasion. Harris wore a dress designed by newcomer Michael Badger, who won the Green Carpet Challenge. Hunt wore a dress designed by H&M (yes, that H&M) who has recently teamed up with Global Green.
This got us thinking: what would we use from our Eco-Friendly fabrics to create our own Oscar worthy gown?
Perhaps we’d use the Pearl Fitted Sheet in Shadow as a base with the Violet Decorative Pillow for accents. Or maybe we’d go a bit bolder and use the bright red hemp & organic cotton mix seen here on the Bamboo Float Armless Chair. So many great options, all with a low carbon footprint and a kind impact on the planet.
