Floor Plan Favorites (& some Viesso additions)
There are lots of places you visit that you never forget. Vacations with family, road trips with friends, traveling abroad. And then there are places that you visit on your TV screen that you never forget. Think of your favorite television show; can you imagine the house where the characters lived?
Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde took this one step further by creating floor plans from shows we all know and love.
Here are some of our favorites:
Lizarralde, a professional interior designer from Spain, has drawn countless residencies for a number of shows. If you’re anything like us, at this point you’re drooling over one or two (or fourteen) of these and finding yourself compelled to own one. You’re in luck! As for these floor plans, on I Love Lucy, we imagine Ricky coming home to Lucy after a long day of rehearsing his latest show, ready for a cocktail. Lucy could definitely own the classic looking Cylinda Cocktail Shaker.
In our opinion, Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment from Sex & The City could not be more perfect. With it’s large walk-in closet and stylish decoration, Carrie lucked out with this New York City gem. Since she works from home, a great chair is key. We can totally see her writing her column in the Raw Chair – and she’d definitely go with the bright yellow option. A girl’s gotta stand out, right?
Moving over to another New York City apartment, we can picture the scene on How I Met Your Mother now: Ted, Lily, Marshall, and Robin are all hanging out when Barney arrives, bringing something that he’s deemed as “Legen – wait for it – dary”: the whimsical Sake Bomb.
If you ever saw the show Gilmore Girls, you would definitely know that Lorelai is a die hard fan of coffee. She just can’t get enough. We think the Press Black Coffee Maker would be a great fit in her home, for the times when she just can’t make it over to Luke’s.
