Modern End Tables

Despite being what some people call occasional furniture, Viesso’s end tables are as modern, sleek and artfully designed as the rest of their furniture. They’re not only esthetically pleasing, but they come in all manner of materials and styles. There must be a Viesso end table for every sort of living room decor.

The futuristic Alfa End table looks like an end table stood up on its end. It has a brushed steel frame and the top can be made of tempered black glass or wenge oak. Better yet, the table can be bought individually or as a nesting set.

The Ares End Table is just as simple and sleek. It has a round MDF top on a slender pedestal that connects with a round base, all in basic white, though the base has felt padding to protect bare floors. A similar end table is the Harvard End Table, though its top is rectangular and cleverly off center.

The Eileen Fay End Table might remind some people of something in a dentist's office. It might be the little chain thing that hangs down from the table top. But the customer shouldn’t worry, for this table’s not only painless but quite pleasurable to behold. It actually telescopes from 24 to 36 inches high and is made of tempered glass mounted on a tube frame of gleaming, chrome plated steel.

The Timber End Table’s design is so utterly elegant that the customer might wonder why such tables aren’t found everywhere. It’s a translucent, acrylic cube with wood grain patterns etched into it. The bottom is open and i can be used for storage.

The Pool End Tables come in small, medium and large sizes. The ones featured on the webpage look like old fashioned fish tanks with two of the sides removed, but the glass can come in black, frost, almond or lime. At any rate, the effect is to make the table look like it’s floating above the floor. There’s also a tall version with a shelf.

The Pawn End Table does look rather like a pawn from a modern chess set and can be made of zebrano, macassar ebony or walnut veneers, or white or yellow lacquer. The look is rustic and the table would look perfect in a country cabin near a fieldstone fireplace!

The Acrylic I beam End Table is a lovely piece of work made of see-through acrylic panels and indeed, it does look like a section of I-beam. This table can work not just as an end table, but a pedestal to display artwork, candles, plants or floral arrangements.

Because Viesso is a company that prides itself on being eco-friendly, the woods it uses are sustainable, or in the case of the Koper End table, reclaimed. This end table at first looks like a Rubik's Cube, but all the sides are of reclaimed Douglas fir. It even has hollows for storage and can come with an optional top.
