Cocotte Small Side Table
A low stool? Or an occasional table? This small piece of furniture nicknamed Cocotte can be used in different ways and finds its place everywhere! You can put it in every nook and cranny of the garden or house... on its own, or in twos or threes or even more! Add to that the wide choice of Fermob colours, and you’ve got the ideal recipe for a very decorative touch!
Don't be put off by its slender appearance! Its wire frame and steel top make this small as sturdy as can be. So, go for it! Take a seat around a low table. But also, on the terrace, put a flower pot or a lamp on it. By the pool, leave your magazines on it.

Fermob
Fermob makes French metal garden furniture in a palette of colours chosen to be seen from the house. The Bistro folding chair descends from a design made for public parks in the 1880s, and it is still the most useful thing on a small terrace: it folds flat, it weighs almost nothing, and it means six more people can sit down at twenty minutes' notice.
Colour is the point of the brand, and the palette is designed to work in combination rather than to match. A table in one shade and chairs in another is the standard move. Alternating chair colours around a single table is the braver one and looks deliberate rather than accidental, because the shades were drawn to sit together.
Underneath that, steel and aluminium with a powder-coated finish built for weather. The aluminium ranges cannot rust at all. The steel is treated, and the only real failure mode is a chip left unrepaired somewhere wet, which is why Fermob supplies touch-up paint in every colour. A minute with that pen in autumn prevents the problem entirely.
Most of it can stay out all year in most climates, and will simply look newer for longer if you store or cover it where the ground freezes and thaws. Darker shades show less dust; the pale neutrals let the planting lead. The questions below cover rust, winter and choosing colours.
