The shell is made in plastic and comes in a selection of colors as well as with upholstery in textile or leather.

The shell is made of ABS plastic with nylon as reinforcement inside.

The upholstered chair is upholstered with cold cured foam and covered with textile or leather.

The base for 3110 is made of 14 mm steel tubes with 4 legs and leg ferrules of black synthetic material.

The base is mounted to the shell with joint filler.

The bases are available in chromed steel or power coated steel in 4 colors.

On upholstered chairs, the chrome base has a chromed steel glide made in one piece with the legs. Underneath rubber glides are mounted.

Drop Upholstery Chair with Keder

The Drop™ chair draws inspiration from the feeling of an embrace, but it has also been designed for freedom of movement; creating a unique sense of comfort. Designed by Arne Jacobsen, it was originally created for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen before being relaunched in 2014. It is said to be Jacobsen’s favourite chair among his many designs.
