The shell is made of a combination of molded hard and soft (MDI) polyurethane foam, reinforced with steel frame and with glass fiber enforcement edges.

The chair comes with either a fixed or a removable cover.

The four-legged base is made of bended steel tubes which are either chromed or powder coated.

The star shaped base with castors is made of die-cast aluminum with a satin polished or powder coated finish.

The base can be configured with either castors with aluminum housing (height adjustable with tilt mechanism) or blackgrey plastic toes (fixed seat height with spring function).

Glides, cover cap and castor rims are made of plastic.

Little Giraffe Swivel Chair

The Giraffe chair was designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1959, specifically for the restaurant at the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. Its high back and padded armrests make for a cosy and comfortable seat. The Little Giraffe™ chair is an evolution of its iconic predecessor – a striking rendition suitable for hospitality, meeting rooms or dining spaces. The Little Giraffe on casters uses original mid-century modern, Danish design to meet the needs of contemporary workspace with a height-adjustable, five-point base.
