This product is a continuation of Paul McCobb's Planner™ series, a line of simple, practical, moderately-priced products from the 1950s.

The table lamp comes with an opal glass shade and two base variants: Untreated solid brass (which beautifully patinates over time and with use) or black lacquered steel.
