Ember Upholstered Chair

The Ember chair is a versatile seat made using traditional joinery techniques. The wide, curved backrest is cut from solid oak. Finished with our house-made tenna oil and completed with exposed tenons. Please note that we make each piece by hand, and every tree is different, so you’ll see slight variations in color and pattern. These aren’t machine made, and we use solid wood, not veneer or engineered wood.

Sun at Six

We were looking for a brand that is inspiring in terms of their approach to design, materials and craft. We got lucky, because Sun at Six was love at first sight. Offering solid wood bedroom furniture, oak dining tables, accent chairs, and more, Sun at Six produces furniture that feels warm and inviting. They source leather from a family-owned tannery in Italy, and work with traditional Chinese joinery masters who hand build each piece of furniture using ancient techniques. Oh, and did we mention the beauty of it all? Great furniture begins with quality materials, and this eco-friendly furniture brand utilizes raw, sustainably sourced white oak, house-made tung oil, and full-grain, vegetable-tanned leathers that patina with age.
