Nevertheless, Pole appears as an out-of-the-ordinary bar stool. A circular solid seat of solid pine rests on an unconventional base that consists of a powder-coated steel tube. Placed horizontally across the base, a simple, smaller steel tube offers a place to rest your feet, serving as both a functional and decorative element in the design. The design is inspired by brutalist architecture which, with its robust materials and geometric shapes constitutes the foundation for the outline of Pole.Overall, Pole Barstool presents itself as a simple yet characterful design with contrasting geometric elements and subtle yet functional details.
